If the technique you saw in one of my videos was rigid collodion, then yes, same technique! A scar made with rigid collodion gets deeper the more layers you paint on.

At first I was thinking you used a prosthetic or face putty or something, but I looked up your body paint basics video, and looking closely, it looks like the scar in these photos is basically the same technique you used there. But it has incredible depth to it, like it's a real deep gash. How did you do that? Is it just a trick of make-up and lighting?
