"A TPK Carol" — a D&D parody music video

This is one of those videos that felt very clunky to me until the final hour or so of the edit — I was working on the composites and stuff, thinking "hmm... it looks.... okay." And then in the eleventh hour, when I applied the final color corrections and added in some shadows and some directional blurs, it was like everything clicked into place. Now I feel pretty good about it!
This is my last major project of 2021, which feels very weird to say! (Didn't this year just start?!) Excited to move onward to bigger and better things in 2022... after a break 😅

I especially like the barbarian with the axe. And by the way, I got both my calendar and my library of witticisms. I like them, so thank you.

2021-12-22 20:36:34 +0000 UTCI was in and out of the stream yesterday (mostly out) so I only saw bits of how this was put together. I've always enjoyed the creative process and how you develop these videos and this is no exception. The finale piece was great and really entertaining. I'll have to go back and watch the actual process, but will I get the jingle bells lyric out of my head?
