Most people I know have never played before, and its a little daunting when you have to teach them everything from rules to character creation. I’ve definitely learned the hard way that not every potential player is interested in such an undertaking, but for those who are willing to learn, how do you think I could facilitate a new player-friendly game?

2022-06-22 18:27:11 +0000 UTCHave not watched the video yet (am at work :( ), but just the splash screen already describes my DMing to a T :D we have 8+ hour sessions during which i sometimes only talk at the beginning to get the session going and at the end to wrap it up (some out of play talking in between also happens obviously), my players are perfectly capable and willing to get lost in their characters for a while :D
