Another calendar shoot in the bag!
Added 2022-09-14 18:54:01 +0000 UTCYesterday we drove about an hour into the mountains to shoot four more costumes for the 2023 calendar! Photographer duo Dillon and Ellie Richardson once again made some beautiful magic — I've only seen back-of-camera so far, but I'm so excited for the final shots!
We shot three characters you might recognize (Morelia the wood witch, Aisling my warlock/druid, and Artemisia the alseid) as well as a brand new pixie look that I'm... not sure about. I made some very cute leaf shoes for her, but ultimately felt like I didn't have quite enough time to make this look what I wanted.
Also, I remembered my antlers for Artemisia but forgot the magnetic headband that goes under the wig... so she'll be getting her antlers in Photoshop. Whoops!
This means we have nine photos shot and just four to go! GETTING SO CLOSE!

Looks like one heck of a crazy but fulfilling kind of day! The new calendar looks more and more promising (esp since all the others have been already so great -- I am so excited!)
