May Patron-only PM stream postponed by 1 hr!

Hey friends, you can join the second of the two May livestreams in just about one hour (6pm MT)! Filming took longer than anticipated, sorry 😅 Once it's time, make sure to click through to YouTube to participate in chat, since I won't be checking comments here on Patreon during the stream.

I'll share some updates on past, current, and upcoming projects, and then answer your questions!

If you missed it, you can watch it back at the same link, or watch the AM edition.

Thanks for an entertaining & enlightening video!

Love D&D Variant called Xcrawl. The backstory is great! And your adventuring party is a sports team. It's like the running man meets WWF.

Keep up the good work!

Congrats on 500, I would not be here if I didn't enjoy your videos!

Sidenote: there has been talk in the groups that at the end of the campaign, we may play Daggerheart for the new campaign, but that is years away because scheduling is the real BBEG.

I watched your stream late, and I just wanted to give my personal experience on something. I run two 5e games, and I've been having casual conversations with some of my players about if I'll be switching systems. The upcoming Daggerheart from Darrington Press has me rather tickled, but I the opinion around both of those groups at the moment is that, no, we won't swap. There's nothing inherently "wrong" with 5e. There are definitely things that can be fixed, and I run a few homebrew rules. But as a foundation it's a great system. I also play cyberpunk, which runs different, and while I enjoy it, I still find myself preferring 5e. I recently started running an Avatar Legends game (built from the PbtA system) and I'm really enjoying the change of pace. It's so roleplay heavy compared to 5e's mechanical approach. Even thought I enjoy it, though, I'm still more partial to 5e. I had one internet person help me run through some of the mechanics and processes before hand on a discord server and it was really helpful, but afterwards they said that there are so many options that are better than 5e and it's important people know about it so they can move away from 5e. This statement kinda threw me a bit, because I've had a lot of fun with 5e, and it does what I want it to do for the games I run. The deciding factor for Daggerheart (lots of critters in my groups) will be how agnostic it is, how easily we can shift the game systems. But, more than likely, we'll just stick with 5e. As for supporting WotC, I have enough 5e books that I can still play 5e games for the rest of my life without ever purchasing a single product from them. I think you have said this in a previous video, but, other than the player's handbook, we don't need anything to play DnD. I guess I just wanted to say that, there's no wrong choice. Be it for your business, or your home games, it's not the fault of the system that the current owners pulled some shady crap, and (while I acknowledge this can be difficult at times) you should be still be making the content that you want to make, not that you think we want to see. I certainly won't stop watching just because you stick with 5e, or swap to something else.

These people that hate you; are they part of a bigger group of people who hate puppies, ice cream, and gaming?

Congratulations on 500K! That's almost the entire population of the state of Wyoming.

Re: Cosplay Builds Help. The main library near me has a workshop called the Spark Place with access to 3d printers and so forth. Also some of the cosplay conventions have hands on cosplay build workshops.
