Current Status and Future Plans

Thank you for your continued support.

A few days ago, I published an announcement titled "Current Development Status and Campaign Update." After receiving valuable feedback, I have taken time to revise and finalize the direction. I would now like to share the updated details with you.

About the Past and Current Situation

First, I’d like to briefly explain my working environment.

I work as a freelancer and am not affiliated with any specific company. This allows me some flexibility in managing my working hours. For the past year or so, I have been reducing my work hours to focus on various activities, and this project is one of them.

However, this lifestyle is difficult to sustain long-term. Since the beginning of this year, I have started to increase my working hours again. As a result, I have had significantly less time to dedicate to this project. This has been one of the main reasons for the recent lack of app updates.

Furthermore, as the app has grown more complex, it has become increasingly difficult to continue development in short, spare moments. Although I have received many encouraging requests and ideas, I have not been able to make progress as I had hoped.

A Practical Solution: Seeking Direct Support

In order to allocate more time to this project, I need to reduce other work commitments. However, doing so would naturally reduce my income, and I must find a way to compensate for that loss.

I believe a realistic solution is to ask for your direct support. If I can receive sufficient support through this project, I will be able to cover the income loss and secure more time for development.

Reason for Canceling the Promotion Campaign

At first, I considered launching a promotional campaign to raise awareness of the app and increase support.

However, after sharing this plan, I received feedback pointing out the risk that a sudden increase in users could place heavy loads on the servers. I recognized that this risk should not be taken lightly, and after careful consideration, I decided to cancel the campaign.

An Alternative Approach: Adjusting the Free Version’s Features

Instead of running a promotion, I am now considering a different way to encourage support: revising the feature limitations of the free (stable) version.

Currently, the stable version offers many features free of charge. Going forward, I plan to gradually adjust these limits to encourage continued support from users.

I know this may cause some inconvenience, and I truly regret that. However, in order to continue sustainable development, I kindly ask for your understanding and support.

Based on feedback from my supporters, I have decided to reconsider this campaign.
The “Share to Unlock Features” campaign, which was originally scheduled to begin on Sunday, April 20, 2025, is now under review, and I am currently planning to postpone or cancel its launch.
Please note that the campaign’s details and start date may be changed or canceled in the future.

I sincerely apologize for the recent slowdown in update frequency and any inconvenience this may have caused.

Despite receiving many requests, I feel regretful that I haven't been able to fully meet your expectations.

One of the main reasons behind this is the increasing complexity of the app, which has made it difficult to secure sufficient development time.

After carefully considering how I can continue developing the app in the future—and taking into account feedback from my supporters—I’ve come to an important conclusion:

The most crucial factor is to secure sustainable revenue from this project, in other words, consistent funding for development.

With that support, I’ll be able to dedicate more time and focus entirely on this project.

So how do I achieve that? First, I need to make the app known to more people. In short, I need to put more effort into promotion.

However, as a solo developer, I have limited time and resources, making it challenging to conduct sufficient marketing on my own.

That’s why I’m asking for your help, and I’ve decided to launch a special “Share on SNS to Unlock Features” campaign.

Campaign Details

• Eligible App Version: Latest stable release

• Unlocked Features: Nearly all features, except for a few experimental ones

• Unlock Duration: 30 days

• Extendable: You can extend it for 30 days from the date of re-sharing (no limit on number of extensions)

• Supported SNS: Platforms with follower/following systems like X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, YouTube, etc. (Anonymous boards or platforms without accounts are not eligible)

• Use of Throwaway Accounts: Not allowed in principle. However, as a transitional measure, temporary approval is granted until June 30

How to Verify

After sharing the app on social media, please contact me with your Patreon ID and the URL of the post you shared.

Once I verify the content, the feature restrictions will be lifted.
