There was never gonna be a moment that this thing was gonna go 'hi, my name is V1-RS, What's yours?" and in the game, there's never much fanfare about the robots' names so I wasn't going to waste time on it either.
Anyway, this is why V1-RS knows so much about Chai and the others. This is why it could formulate a successful plan to trap him and 808 and why it could mimic voices... V1-RS is the database containing the memories of every single Vandelay Robot. What they saw, it saw, what they heard, it heard. What they felt, it felt.
Armed with that knowledge, I think you can probably guess why V1-RS is so psychotically angry. But the whole thing will be revealed properly over the next two pages... well, almost the whole thing.

I wasn't able to guess that this was the big baddie's motive, and it's a really interesting twist! All of the robots built by Roxanne aren't enemies in the game so I wasn't expecting V1-RS to be her creation, but it makes sense that she would build something to aggregate data from the robots. Maybe you shouldn't have beaten up all those SCR-UB's Chai. Now I wonder if it'd be possible to upload all that data through Chai's arm into him. Would be a good way to get revenge after all. And I don't think Roxanne would make V1-RS such a dangerous (and terrifying) body, so perhaps it creates that form itself? On another note, 808 taking him for a walk, so cute!!

2023-11-02 13:46:06 +0000 UTCDamn. I am shocked by the turn of events. I don’t think Roxanne would have imagined her technology would have catastrophic consequences compared to Kale’s idea. Brutal twist. The fact a good invention that was forgotten by Roxanne due to being under Spectra’s influence because of Kale was still running and now wants revenge. I don’t think Kale knew about this which makes devastating and horrifying.
