I should clarify! Blackstyle socks are amazing, I do feel like these are the top of the line.. but they come with a price tag. Never had any disintegration issues with them, I have torn through a pair though. The biggest issue I had was with a batch of their black socks where they ended up being semi-translucent and then they denied it until a bunch of people complained.. only then did they admit they changed their formula to prevent tearing. Literally they told me "no you're wrong" π€¨ I have about 6 pairs of their socks, so I can see the original formula, the messed up one, and then their latest formula, which is opaque again.

2021-08-21 15:51:50 +0000 UTCOh wow, I never realized why you go into making them. I still have a few pairs of Blackstyle.de toe socks, but they do tend to get gooey over time, even when chlorinated.

So this was long before I pursued making my own, starting UniqDsn, etc. I bought from Polymorphe and Blackstyle.. and can say without a doubt, their molded latex is garbage. It deteriorates within a couple years and has the most disgusting odor. It's prone to rot/mold, tearing, UV damage, odd shaped toes.. the list goes on. I will say they were the inspiration behind UniqDsn though.. I had approached them to ask to do a custom color (orange). They told me orange was an awful color.. ummm.. OKAY! Haven't shopped there in ages! Not bashing the entire store! I'm sure they make plenty of other fantastic items!
