Fatal One Update

Hey there,

Fatal One is coming along!

Dungeon design: 95%
Stream overlays: 100%
Dungeon rules: 85%
Character creation rules: 85%
Party creation rules: 50%
Video intro: 10%

I'm thinking we're going to have a September launch date, although the specifics of that are still up in the air. The big things standing in our way are the video intro (which will be done by the same talented artist who did the Dicing with Death and the Age of Strife intros), and my moving to Colorado. The move will be done by mid august, but I'll still have to set up a proper studio there (no more streaming from the dinning room!).

On the topic of Party creation rules, really what we're looking at is how do we decide which party gets to run the dungeon that week? I don't want to pick a new party to run the dungeon until the last party has finished their run, so we're not going to be "booking" parties in advance, but the specific process by which a party gets selected is still up for debate.

We could do it one of many different ways.

All the groups that want to play show up at the start of the show and then we hold a vote / randomly select one of them.
Create an "approved" list of groups to run based on technical specs and contribution to the view based documentation of the run.
Have each team that wants to run write up bit of propaganda (3-5 sentences) on why they should be picked and leave it to a viewer vote.
I could pick based on interesting party compositions

So we're getting close, and I'm getting excited. I would love to hear any thoughts you readers may have on the party selection process, including new ideas or methods.
