Custom Creations - My New Step-Sister Part 3

As I woke up the next morning I rubbed the sleepies out of my eyes, just glad it wasn’t a school day. Then it dawned on me, Breakfast! I got so excited, not just at the fact that I love breakfast, but it was going to be round two with Sam. I couldn’t wait to pile her plate high with pancakes, and sausage, and hash browns!

I rushed down stairs to insert myself right into the middle of meal prep, and I was elated to see my mom was already toiling away. We had the kitchen to ourselves for the timing being, just mother and daughter together. “Oh good morning honey.” My mom chimed.

“Wow this looks great mom.” I paid my compliments to the chef. “Let me help by setting the table.” Perfect way to make sure everyone got a proper serving. Once the kitchen table was set, I started carrying over finished plates of food until the table was completely full. Knowing full well that Sam would take only a piece of dry toast and some scrambled eggs, I helped by loading everyone's plate up with their first course.

Mom noticed my abundance of encouragement, and tried to settle me down. “Honey, don’t you think you should let people serve themselves?”

“Sorry, I just got a little excited.” I pretended to boo hoo. “I just wanted the Fletchers to taste all the parts of your amazing breakfast so they’ll know, just like I do, how good it is.” Flattery always worked with my mom.

“Oh honey.” She smiled. Then while looking in the direction of their master bedroom she called out, “Dear, breakfast is ready.” Shortly thereafter Randy made his appearance, his hair giving clear evidence that he had just gotten out of bed.

“Good morning ladies.” He said with a smile. It didn’t take him long to notice there was a missing family member though. “Where’s Sam?” He said under his breath. “Sam!” He then shouted. “Get down here, Gail made breakfast!”

We all sat as we waited for my new sis to join us. After we had all gotten started, and started to chit chat, the world famous Sam Fletcher graced us with her presence. Adorning a pair of soft booty shorts, and a baggy tank top, she shuffled in her fuzzy slippers into the empty spot at the table, where her plate of pre-portioned food sat for her. In half a daze she looked at her plate in disgust, again probably not used to that many calories so early in the morning.

Noticing that his daughter wasn’t as eager to dig in as his new one who sat across from him, he made sure to let his displeasure known. “Honey, eat up. Gail worked hard on this breakfast. And it’s really good too!” He said, smiling at my mom. With that Sam brushed her unmanaged blonde locks out of her face, and picked up her fork.

I was counting my small victories, as I felt like I was making great progress, even though it had been less than a day, and Sam had probably taken in less than a fifth of a pound in extra calories. I was looking at the big picture. This was just the base that I would build her flabby frame on. Focus on her three square meals a day, and then tack on some bad habits. Speaking of which I now had to scheme how to pack some extra calories into lunch.

Our move into our new home took place the weekend before Sam and I were to start our senior year of high school. Move in on a Saturday, finish unpacking on Sunday. It was surprisingly doable, as by the time Monday morning rolled around I was ready to hit the ground running. I made sure me and my new sis were fueled for the day to come, and poured us both bowls of sugary cereal. “Sis, I don’t want you to be hangry in the car on the way to school.” I said as I presented her the sugary breakfast.

“Stop calling me sis.” She seethed as she gave in and took the bowl. She knew the power I had in this duo. It wasn’t much, but squealing to mom, and that getting passed on to her dad, was enough to get my foot in the door with Sam.

Since Randy had money, and my mom didn’t, of course Sam had her own car and I didn’t. Randy had convinced Sam that she needed to give me a ride to school, it was silly for me to take the bus or have one of them drive me. I wasn’t too excited by this idea either. No one at school knew we were living together, unless Sam had spilled the beans to her friends, which I knew she wouldn’t do. Our parents had only gotten close over the summer, and pretty last minute decided to move in together. Showing up in Sam Fletcher's SUV was going to put me in a whole different light at our school, a light I wasn’t ready to step into, not yet.

“Don’t forget your lunch.” I said with a smile as we grabbed our things before leaving. I had my mom make sure to pack us both hardy lunches for our big first day of senior year. Sam grumbled as she put the hefty brown paper bag in her pack.

“Can we finally go?” Sam grumbled. Yes, we were finally ready to get things started.
