Test Class: Sorcerer - 2e
Added 2022-12-26 00:57:57 +0000 UTCThis test class is very similar to the MP rework for mages, but with some significant differences.
1) Spell casting is limited by encumbrance, so it can be done while wearing armor (in theory)
2) Sorcerers don't pick their spells, they learn them based on the direction of their theme / flavor / what they've been doing. This is a lot more work for the DM.
3) They don't study since their magic is internal and innate to them, so they can't recover as fast as a mage with the MP system.
4) Since they didn't spend years in study and practice to be this way, they have some features more in common with rogues or fighters than wizards. That is to say they have more HP (1d8), better to hit improvement, less restricted weapons, rogue starting wealth, and pick NWP from the rogue list instead of the wizard list.
This test class has some problems and certainly isn't done.
