City Dwarves

The campaign is coming along! We've got art, overlays, and a first play date: This Tuesday (14th) at 6pm Pacific / 9pm Eastern, so an evening show in the US and a VOD for the EU.

Final details are still being fleshed out, and things can change up to the last minute, but here's what I'm expect as of this moment.

Our PCs are young dwarves living in a city. They're the children of cobblers who perished last month when plague swept through the city. Coming home from the funeral, they have found their shop ransacked. Tools broken, shoes in for repairs ruined, the whole place a mess, except for one left boot that has been repaired and left in the middle of the room. Obviously this was the work of a rival cobbler shop, but which one? And why? Soon enough the clients stop coming in. No new orders for shoes, boots, or even sandals. Some neighbors will bring things by for repairs, but our young dwarves aren't great in this field and they are lacking quality equipment. To top it off, word is beginning to spread about the poor quality of work, and the incompetence of the PCs as cobblers. 

Our potential heroes are facing a serious problem as funds begin to run out... yet some god must have smiled down upon these poor orphans, for one day they come downstairs to find all their work completed for them and the shop nicely cleaned up. This is where we will start our campaign.

We'll be playing 5th edition D&D, our players will all be dwarves, but the classes have yet to be worked out. Also, we'll be using a movement speed of 20 for our dwarves (instead of the RAW 25), and all of our other house rules from The Lazarus Expedition.

You can expect this campaign to be a little lighter in tone than the more recent ones... but that's not saying much.
