π Mental Health is a Bitch, But You're Not π
Added 2021-01-08 12:37:08 +0000 UTCIt is my unprofessional opinion, that mental health can go fuck itself.
You are not what your brain tells you.
You're human: you spiral, you worry, you hate yourself, and that's okay.
Forgive yourself and do the best you can.
No one can ask more than that.

Can you really say the same to people with mental disorders, who don't have full control over their brain. Or those who need other's words of affirmation to believe they're capable of more.

2021-01-09 02:02:18 +0000 UTCAs someone who has been diagnosed with clinical depression (and also had a friend who was in the military the same time I was commit suicide after he got back from a tour of duty in Iraq), I will always fight daily to overcome this monster that I created. But as long as I have people helping me hold on, I'll be okay, just keep moving

2021-01-08 13:56:14 +0000 UTCI wish I had the words to help you kick its ass! But at least you seem to be aware of your own issues. People who are not aware that they even have an issue are far worse off in the long run. So, just keep heeding your own advice and don't be too hard on yourself. π€π€π€

2021-01-08 13:51:47 +0000 UTCI completely agree with that, but let me ask this: whoβs a bigger bitch, mental health or those (except for yourself) who say that people with mental health issues need βto get over itβ?
