Someone you'd give your life for and they would do the same. Regardless if you call them are a SO, Family, friend, etc...It's the connection, not the "label"

He dedicates every weekend to seeing his girl (who he got into a relationship with at the start of this year) and during the weekdays he's always investing his free time after work in his own gaming life. It's like he doesn't care enough to fit me into his time. I get that our time is precious and we have our own lives but the lack of what he puts into this friendship as of late has been so upsetting, especially in a time when I've felt so alone otherwise :(

Just having that someone to talk and spend time with is already an amazing thing and often helps when one is in a bad situation. Too bad nowadays things often get mistaken and friendships end too soon. Talking from experience
