✨So, a few people have messaged me with concerns over Patreon's policies regarding NSFW content. I have read through Patreon's policies and whilst we need to do some labelling edits (having all NSFW behind paywalls and explicitly labeled as 18+) we can continue to produce the NSFW audios.✨ 

I want to thank everyone who's reached out, shown concern, and genuinely just wished me and other creators well, so, so much. 

Admittedly, we live in an age of uncertainty (especially with regards to creative expression, art and the internet) and this is definitely something to keep an eye on. However, I am convinced that this is not a dead end for creators. Something similar happened with OnlyFans semi-recently and within the week the decision was overturned. At the end of the day, the only way platforms like OnlyFans and Patreon make money is through their creators and patrons. 

Obviously there's far more sexually explicit content on OnlyFans than on Patreon, but NSFW work still makes up a huge chunk of Patreon's content and revenue. I do not believe Patreon would willingly throw away a sizeable portion of its profits. 

Instead, I believe they will find a loophole - perhaps just not allowing the term p*rn or p*rnography - but rather opting for terms like NSFW or adult content or 18+ work. Companies like Patreon receive pressure from banks and backers to become "family friendly" - the very thing that pushed OnlyFans (ONLYFANS, FOR F*CK'S SAKE) to make such a ludicrous decision in the first place. But the thing is - a large portion of life, entertainment and art is not family friendly  - and more importantly, it shouldn't be. Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, etc are all rammed with violence, sex, dark subjects, etc because we as people enjoy those themes being explored in entertainment.

I do not and never have made "family friendly content". It explicitly states on my Patreon page that all content is intended for adults and you must be 18+ to access it. There is zero false advertisement. The content is adult role-plays - both SFW & NSFW. Made by an adult for other adults. And I feel so long as that is made EVEN more clear, we can still operate as we have been. 

I could be underestimating the situation and Patreon could crack down on NSFW content, but if that becomes the case then we'll have to find another platform and go from there. 

As I said, I doubt Patreon wants to chop off its nose to spite its face and will work with creators (especially those who make up such a large portion of their revenue) to find the right terminology and marketing "do's" and "don'ts" - but if not, then we'll just have to adapt, improvise and overcome.
