Stage one - Ideation and inspiration.
I'm trying to think of what colours to go for, snout extension size and clothing.
Stage Two - will be scribbles, then eventually some lineart.
Stage Three - will be getting you guys to help me narrow down.
Stage Four - initial colour and edits.
Stage Five - Full render.
Meanwhile, i'm looking into collaborating with Musicians
By collaborate, I mean pay someone good :)
The good news is, I have literally hundreds reaching out to me, i'm even in touch with two VERY famous musicians.
The bad news is the famous and good ones are pressed for time, and the new ones are a big risk. So that's a
What else is going on?
I'm coding up Fel's date scene ( some very tricky SFX i need to code) and slowly getting my thoughts together on the RTS direction.
I keep looking at the code i've done for the RTS and thinking "how complex will this be at the end?" I realised the difference between full RTS and turn based code wise isn't as big as I thought. In fact, going full RTS might have more benefits but in different ways.
What makes RTS really hard are three things:
1. Path finding (how does Unit get from A to B, and move around obsticles)
2. Collisions (200 objects on screen, how do they interact with each other?)
3. Zoom (zooming impacts every image, position and vector calculations).
good job i've done all that already! :)
The challenge is to stop it growing uncontrollably!
