Recap on her backstory:

Cypher is a spunky hacker known as a Net spinner, she is extremely anti-establishment and hates the arachnid elites. They'd fire Cypher if they could, but they can't; she is far too talented. Cypher specialises in DDOS, Service denial, cross-species technology penetration and much more complex topics we can barely pronounce.
She is also very passionate, she believes in freedom of speech, alien relations and would rather tame the drone fleet than destroy them all together.

Game Plot overview:

The spider boss woman (shared in my gallery) is a member of her arachnid race, in the game in the very early missions one of the first you end up attempting to save them. You can romance one of the ambassador spiders, who worships you. Turns out their people have prophecies a 'drone commander' though in their history they thought it was more like commanding of giant ant drones...not robots.

The Spider boss woman I shared in particular is the head in control of much of their economy, military and industry. You work with her to increase their output and fight against the drone fleet. she is a no-nonsense spider woman. As opposed to this character, Cypher (the hacker spider girl - net spinner).

When you help liberate the spiders, you get one valuable ally - Cypher, she can help manage your cyber hub; specifically defending from drone virtual incursions and delivering viruses and EMP to enemy squadrons.

She is young, spunky and hates the arachnid elites who see her as an unstable risk to their society.

so Cypher and boss spider woman dont' get on - you end up having to chose allegiances often
