Update July 31st

TLDR I am back at it and working again, but I would appreciate it if you read the entire post.

So it has been awhile since my last post. I just wanted to give you all a play by play about whats been going on. So at first I was suffering from writers block, some patrons messaged me and asked about what I have been working on and I let them know where I was. During this writers block I decided I would take some time away from Her Fall, This is when I made the Alpha 3 Version of MH.

I came back and tried writing Her Fall again. Only to get 1 scene into it and got stuck again. I couldnt keep track of all the branching paths and trying to remember what should start and end where and all that. Which upset me. But I was able to write scenes 8 and 9 of Route 1 before I was stuck again. Being stuck twice is not something I am used to. Which started making me a bit depressed.

I decided I would take a break from writing and I just spent a week playing the new update for 7 days to die. Right when I was coming back to write again, I bumped my desk, and spilt some coffee on keyboard. It was only on the arrow keys, and I didn't freak out and wipe it off right away as I was eating, and because my keyboard is water resilient so I figured ah fuck it its fine. Then about an hour later my keyboard started freaking out, and would not work at all. I spent the rest of that day trying to fix it. I was eventually able to get it semi working. Though I still need a new keyboard as now certain keys need to be hit multiple times before they register. Which is a REALLY BAD thing when it comes to someone who is coding and 1 typo can fuck up a lot. I then spent a couple of days working on my jellyfin. This is basically a home media system where I can stream content to anywhere that is connected to my home network. Movies I have bought, shows I have bought so on and so forth. I realized my system was out of date by a year so I taught myself how to set it up using docker instead of just your standard windows configuration. Then I spent a few days getting plugins coded and working how I wanted it. And installed and set up some other apps to go along with it. After 3 days it finished setting up everything. If you want to know why that took so long you can ask me on discord. I am not going into it here.

So I spent the last 2 days finishing writing the entire script to Her Fall Chapter 9 part 3. That is finally done, and I am ready to start getting images and videos rendered. So look forward to that in tomorrows update. The rest of today, I will be making some 3d environments for some of the new areas that I will be needing for this part of the story. Which with no spoilers is essentially only Josies apartment, and The Ace of Spades clubhouse.

Another reason why I was not posting was I got some unfortunate news. The person that was going to be doing the Russian translation stopped halfway through and didnt tell me, So Hagren is currently trying to get that done. But I am not sure how long he will be continuing either.As he hinted toward also being done. Hopefully he is able to at least finish the current thing he is working on. If I have to I will just use DeepL to translate after that. It wont be great but people should still get the general idea.On top of that. The person that was supposed to be making the new map for the MC's House in MH currently needs to focus on college tests, so is only able to work on it a couple of hours a week, and he is also doing the spanish translation at the same time.So I wanted to give them both some time to get done what they could. I am going to check back in with them as soon as I finish this Her Fall Chapter, which should be in like 3 days. If they have nothing ready to go, I will just use DeepL to translate what they don't have done.and the new house will have to wait for the next update I guess. I am going to be making the new office area so I will just give him the time he needs to get the new house done. As far as I know he is around halfway done.

This part of the chapter is going to have ALOT in terms of animations. I counted 166 positions.Each position needs 3 angles, and between 4-7 speeds, we will just call it 7 for the math.So that is 166 X 3 X 7 = 3462. Which is a lot of animations that I need.Now it wont really be that many, as there are a few orgy scenes 1per route. And I dont think I will be doing 3 angles for those.As there will be multiple people involved, So there is not really a need to do all the extra angles on top of it, since you should be able to get the same idea. Just by changing the character your looking at.But There will be First person and 3rd person views for each one so it should be more realistic so say around 2k animations.So yea, it will be a massive fucking update in terms of size alone for sure. And it is bringing the story into its final section.All 3 routes ending should become more clear by the end of this chapter.
