Daily Update 8/11

This seems a lot longer than it really is. Mainly its a small bit about what I did today.

Then a rant about NTR, Then explaining NTR what I find acceptable and not acceptable. And explaining the different forms for people who don't know the difference.

Then another rant about a game I attempted to playthrough last night, made in Koikatsu that upset me, as someone who also uses koikatsu.

Mainly because I was upset with myself with the first 3 chapters of my own game whenever I  look back at them. The difference is I was releasing those chapters once a week back then

(They were much shorter chapters)

So if you play through Her Fall Chapters 1-4 you will see my first month-month and a half of work learning Koikatsu and how I improved.

Then playing a game that still looks like horrible even with the newest animations when the dev has been working on it for 2 years.... It annoyed me. So I made my

own tutorial for how to make animations and stuff in koikatsu with image and video guides.

Things I did today. Finished getting all the renders sorted and renamed. Also took some extra renders, and completed adding them all to the code. Made all the screens for the sex scene UIs for EVERY position in all 3 routes which came to 15350 lines of code.... My hands hurt now...So all that is left to finish this update: Make the labels for the sex scenes for routes 2 and 3.Add the audio for the scenes. Make 8 audio files for Josie, sex speeds 1-4 and bj speeds 1-4.Make the Dialogue for the sex scenes for those routes as well, Since I decided to do it for Route 1 kinda gotta do it for all 3.

Quick thing I need to write somewhere so I don't forget. Since I already have all the audio files for 7 out of 8 of the girls in the game for bj and sex speeds 1-4 there is no excuse for me not adding those, To the rest of chapter 9. I mean the files are already there its just going into each label and typing play music misakisex1 loop. Or whoever it is and the position they are doing. That was clearly just me being too lazy. So I need to make it a point to go back and add those in at some point. Maybe I should push the release back an extra day. So that I can have time to go back add sex dialogue for chapter 9 parts 1 and 2, and add the audio files for those as well. I mean I made the files because I planned on going back and adding them to chapters 1-6 eventually then I just got lazy with it. Mainly I guess that is my own bias because when I play these games I play it with the audio off so it doesn't seem like a big deal to me. IDK I guess I will do it like this. I will go back and do that stuff and release this update 1 day later than planned just so I can have time to add the audio file lines in the code for every chapter that doesn't have them if this post gets 5 likes. Why 5? Because generally every post gets 3. And sometimes I am not sure if people are actually reading what I am writing or just randomly clicking like. So 5 likes means that at least 2 more people read this far, and was like hey thats a good idea he should do that. And so I will. But its up to you. If there are only the normal 2-3 likes, I will still go back and do it, but it wont be until I get around to it which will probably be when I add the Gallery which will be after the last part of chapter 10 comes out, on like a version 1.01 or something.

Side tangent on something cool I did with Chapter 9 Part 3 Route 3.So I have said before that I was debating going back and adding alternate routes to all of the older chapters as well, Since the newer ones have them. Kinda like adding a "What was Ryou doing while Misaki was doing X" "What was Kishimoto doing during chapter 4" because he isn't in that chapter, things like that. Instead I decided to do that but also not do it. See in Route 3 If you are on that route.. Side note I recommend playing through all routes. Well at least Routes 2 and 3.mainly because yea I am also not a fan of NTR, well Netori and Netorase I don't mind. But cuckolding not a fan. Her Fall started out aiming to be a netorare story, as that was what the doujin I based it off of was, but I changed it dramatically. And it does not have cuckoldry for the most part. There are a couple of scenes in route 1, that push that line a bit but I would say they don't cross it. But Route 2 is a true love route, with an actual happy ending for the main couple. Route 3 covers Ryou finding everything out not being okay with the lifestyle, finding someone else and moving on with his life. So happy ending for Ryou and not so happy ending for Misaki. Route 1 I would like to think the ending is the same for Ryou, but the story path that Route 1 covers, Ryou and Kishimoto are not really in it at all anymore. Its just Misaki. I keep getting way off track....Point is. Even if you not a fan of NTR you should try the game, since the alternate routes will more than likely have something you are into. Also I personally like the character design of this game a lot. So I hope some of you that play MH will at least give the game a try. I would say if you are super against Netori or Netorase, which 99% of people are not against those, only Netorare and they don't understand the difference.If your into netori try the game, but if you are SUPER against NTR as a whole but ok with swinging/cheating skip to chapter 6, play through it a bit get a feel for the story then maybe try going back to the older chapters. My main point though was during scene 10 of Route 3, I decided to have Ryou sit down and have a heart to heart with the new character Josie. They tell each other their past, and realize they share quite a bit in common. But in doing that, I had Ryou go back over what happened in the earlier chapters from his own POV and him telling things from his side. Where as the main line story you follow Misaki the vast majority of the time and rarely get a peek into what the other characters are thinking. Because She is the MC of the story. Also the next 2 paragraphs are completely skippable, I kinda went on a rant then cut that whole section out of the stuff I wrote above. Then just pasted it down to the bottom, my plan was just to delete it. But after writing 2 paragraphs I figured why delete it? It may help someone who A. Doesnt understand the difference, or B. Doesn't know the kinda stuff that is and is not in Her Fall. Which might entice some of you to give the game a try without being too scared of it.

Let me be a bit more specific at least about my personal tastes, See in a game when its your job to steal someone elses girl that is fun for me. That is NTR if you didn't know. But it is Netori.I also have no issue when you are playing as a female character or a male character and you are cheating on your spouse or lover. That is the Cheating Tag I also have no issue when it comes to being in an open relationship when it benefits BOTH people in the relationship Netorase/Swinging. What I DO NOT enjoy is when the story is like this: You are a small dicked loser, you have loved this girl for years but she doesn't know you exist. You get your rocks off to beating you tiny meat to watching her get fucked by a train of huge football styled looking dude with abnormally large dicks. OR You are married and you have a small dick, that your wife can't get off to. So instead you decide it would be fun if she fucked someone else while you watched a video tape of it. During that tape she goes on about how much better his dick is than yours and vows to only fuck him from now on and all you are allowed is handjobs, and your so pathetic you cum just by her touching you. That is Netorare. Cuckoldry and I personally do not like it, at all. I am against that just as much as I am against loli stuff. Like I have said literally hundreds of times, if thats what your into hey go you. I wont judge you. Hell I will even defend you, because I think its fucked up that people judge others based on their kinks. Though there is a line, like if your someone that enjoys playing a game or reading a story that has x kink in it. I dont mind. But if your goal is to for example become a pedo. Then yeah nope not defending you, in fact if I ever met you I would be in prison for manslaughter. Sorry those are the facts. Like there is a line between fantasy and reality and as long as certain things stay in fantasy I don't mind. BUT YEA RANT OVER. Sorry idk where the fuck that came from anyways.

So I know its bad form to shit on other devs works. Which is why when I do get snippy about other developers I tend to not say exactly who I am talking about. But if you don't know I have over 200 visual novels/games downloaded from f95zone. I usually spend about an hour or 2 each day reading through their stories. I play loads of games, stuff I am personally into and some that I am not. Mainly to look at different UI elements, get ideas for scenes, ideas for how things can be coded so on and so forth. But what I played last night... I need to say something about it. And I am sorry if this comes off as too much of a dick. But what the fuck is going on with the game called "Corrupting my girlfriend in another world" I am not talking about the writing or anything like that. To be honest I couldn't focus on the writing at all anyways. I was far to focused on the absolute shit that was the animations. A game made in Koikatsu's CharaStudio animations are easy as all hell. Let me give you a quick overview on how to do it with step by step images and videos so that anyone even you reading this right now, could easily go and make your own game.

Step 1 is to create your story idea.

Step 2 is to create your characters.

Step 3 is to create your maps.

Step 4 is when you create your renders or animations.

So really quick let's make the fake story, to make a quick character and animation for them.

Let's say our 2 characters are Taka a standard dude in a high school. (Koikatsu comes with highschool maps making this loads faster and easier for my example...lol)

And his girlfriend, Yui.

Now let's say in our story, Taka and Yui decided they just HAD to sneak away from the rest of class to get their freaks on.
So they go to a bathroom stall for a quick bit of doggy style.
There we go we have a quick example of a scene, we know our characters names, the location it needs to take place, and the position they will be in.
So now I will get to making the characters. I am literally going to give myself 5 minutes really quickly to make each character. It will be decently easy, as they are in school so they only need a school uniform. Ok And here are our 2 characters.

So now I am going to open CharaStudio. Now of of the most important things, if you do not plan on learning how to create your own animations from scratch, but instead use the vast amount that are in Charastudio. Make sure your characters are roughly the same height. Otherwise it tends to break things. Now I am going to show you 2 animations and the fix. Basically this is what I saw when I saw the animations from "Corrupting my girlfriend in another world" It was why I couldn't focus on the story, and Why I was instantly annoyed by it. I will be recreating the animation they used exactly, then showing you how in LITERALLY 1 FUCKING BUTTON PRESS THEY COULD HAVE FIXED IT!!!! Sorry I know I know too harsh.. But thats just how annoyed it made me.

So first we pick our 2 animations. One for the male character and one for the female one. The animations need to be the same. So we are using Doggystyle Against Wall

Then you click Copy Transform for one of the characters and paste that to the other character with these buttons here. it looks like this when your done

Now as you can see they are out of sync and clipping through the wall and through each other. But we will fix that, first we ctrl+click each character in the workspace area so that we are selecting both There there are these arrows and flat planes, the arrows move the characters in the direction of the arrow and the planes let you move them around on 2 axis while locking out the third axis. Basically you want to use the planes if you dont want your characters to clip into the ground and just want to move them around click and drag the green plane

There see now her hands are "Touching" the wall. But wait they are still not touching properly. we can adjust the animation using the Pattern and Extra 1 and Extra 2 sliders.

Wow look at that much closer to what we want now right? But thats all they did on the other game. They NEVER DID THE STEP TO SYNC THE CHARACTERS on Any of the animations I looked at. So this animation here is like what I saw, Notice the HORRIBLE Clipping, and the fact they are out of sync? Thats how the animations look on that game. But just by copying and pasting the transform that would have solved that issue but they refused to do that apparently. And to fix the out of sync thing its literally just pressing the button right here called ReAll.

Now in this animation you can see they are still clipping a bit but they are synced. How do we fix that clipping issue? Using the Pattern, Extra 1 and Extra 2 thing.

And here is a finished animation. What is the difference from the default one? I moved Taka back a bit, because you want to see the penis to know they are actually fucking and not just rubbing against each other, I turned Yui's head a bit adjusted where she was looking, and opened her mouth a bit to make her be moaning.

While making Taka look at her, and opened his mouth a bit too. Now if we wanted to make this a POV thing thats easy too, just click on taka and press backspace. It will literally go right to his POV

If we wanted to speed them up every position has a slow/fast/before climax thing to have 3 speeds getting faster and faster, with finishing the position off with a Cum inside, Mutual Weak Climax, Mutual Strong Climax, Girl Weak Climax or lastly a Girl Strong Climax.

If you wanted to "See the action" A bit more but run into this weird clipping issue here I generally solve that by just picking a different uncensor selector and then switching back. And thats literally it.

Thats all it takes to make these animations look decent. Like this is the LOWEST acceptable bar. So when I see things worse than this not only just it just look like a shameless cash grab to me. It feels like a spit in the face to all the people that actually make games with these engines. This is a long rant that I really shouldn't post. But it is also informative and could help a lot of people.

So I know this seems like a dickhead section even reading it all again part of me really doesn't want to post it. But also, if it helps even one person learn something, get inspired, or helps someone then its worth it to me.
