I had a few good people reach out to me to ask 'hey Adam, why so quiet?'
Well unfortunately about 5 days ago I noticed a leak in the kitchen ...
It got progressively worse each day.
So I got plumbers round "Can't find it, it must be coming from the roof."
So I got roofers round "Can't find it, it must be under the bath..get a plumber."
After 2 days of pulling out tiles, floorboards and digging through walls I found the leak!
But i'm British and live in a house that (whilst very good) was built in 1930...so the copper pipe is 'imperial British' size, i.e. the sizes the Americans now use. Surprise surprise, its impossible to find those kind of fittings.
So a lot of thread tape, the closest size fittings and i've stopped the leak and fitted and repaired it.
Still a tiny bit seeping out, so will redo again today then clean up...put everything back should be done today. Let the kitchen dry out and patch up on Tuesday.

So basically i've been doing an hour here/there at 3am when i wake up because i've collapsed exhausted every day. That said, i've made dev improvements to the phone mechanics, audio voice mechanics. Finished a new scene with Tabby and completed first lineart of a new female ship captain called Saska.

I expect to be back to focusing more on the game by tomorrow.

Hey! The good news is I managed to get it all fixed! I have a bit of cleaning up to do, but its done!

2024-04-20 13:03:24 +0000 UTCThat's a good question bud, unfortunately it would take too long to come; i'd need both the fittings and some piping of that size (3/4 inch) fortunately I think i've managed to seal it using the closest UK/EU sizes. It must be a common thing i think, as there are a ton of old houses around here. Good question though; I was originally considering that!
