Rumour has it although she's a business woman her previous role was as a formidable pirate and had made her wealth through Shady means. Her sister is on the Vanguard as a Admiral and also embroiled sordid scandals with the humans.

Morrigan wants rid of her as soon as possible she's almost paid off all of the capital but this shareholder still has a right to come on and inspect Morrigans ships and staff from time to time. Rumour has it, she's also been building her own reverse pride of 7 easily led humans... Vess has access to some highly sought after dispersion material known as shards, a resource that underpins the entire game (and books i’ve written).

She didn’t know it was valuable, until one of her blabbermouth human boys in her pride, shared what he overheard when captured by the Foundation of Man.
