i'll be referring this kind of Art as Lore art from now on - it will sometimes be in the game, during flashback or story telling.

But i share it with patreons here too. I'll give a little brief to make sense of it all below, an in gameshowcase should be out in a week or two.

Vess was originally a pirate like Morrigan but far more ruthless. As she aged and came more mature, she retired from the venture once she had accrued enough money to make a rich a million times over.
She needed to launder her money though, she found many ventures -but none as lucrative as Morrigan's request for the creation of the black fleet.

So, most people think of Morrigan as the big boss, and Vess likes to keep it that way - she doesn't wanted pulled into day to day operations; but make no mistake, Vess wants her moneys worth.

The thing she is holding is called 'the shard', it's made from synthetic, processed degenerate strangematter; also known as a strangelett shard. More to come on this, but readers of the books will know where this is going.

And her body guard, that's a Kaelix model.
