Working on Vess and her Sister Tiff's relationship

Both of them are top of the food chain, and questionable ethics - but they are both highly competent too. The difference lies in how far their ethics diverge - Tiff serves the Vanguard and puts job first. But when shes' off duty, anything goes.
Vess is as corrupt as they come, having built her own empire in piracy and now laundering her money through the purchase of the black fleet. What's her end game?

2025-09-11 11:29:33 +0000 UTCIMHO, Vess’ endgame would be to use her laundered money to establish a legal enterprise, one specialising in terraforming (or, taking into account her species’ homeworld, “alaraforming”) planets devastated by the Drone Fleet, with possible branches dealing with infrastructure (re)construction, mining, manufacturing, etc. In short, she would establish a Sekarri version of Weyland-Yutani Corporation. Think about this in this way: if the Drone Fleet manages to kill everyone in the Milky Way galaxy, then there will be no shame in doing what she does, because there will be no one left to point out her possible failure. However, since she is a “shrewd businesswoman,” she may be willing to take a long shot and bet everything on the Drone Fleet being stopped. This outcome would result in the remaining space-faring civilisations in need of a contractor willing to undertake large-scale projects, one which she would be more than happy to provide, thus multiplying her fortune, ensuring opulent retirement in the future and establishing her legacy as a synonym of success.
