Thank you for reaching out. I think/hope I have downloaded and installed 1.2.1f correctly. I will try it out and see. Thanks again for your concern and help.

2023-12-15 20:52:44 +0000 UTCHey, just checking in, did you get it to work?
ProceduralCareer
2023-12-14 12:27:23 +0000 UTCI will start from scratch (including disabling that Microsoft Defender) and report back. It is a very strange situation—when I tried to open the folder in the Settings on a previous attempt I had to copy and paste the path for AMS 2 because it wouldn’t let me select it. I will report back. Thank you for your patience. I’m sure this will eventually work out and I can’t wait to try this app.

2023-12-11 20:02:06 +0000 UTCThat's super weird, it should be created when you save the settings. Did you enter the path to Assetto/Automobilista 2?
ProceduralCareer
2023-12-11 18:08:42 +0000 UTCIt does not exist. I assumed it would be created as part of the download/extraction but it doesn’t look like it was. And I did not create anything on that path either.

2023-12-11 16:08:03 +0000 UTCIf you go to the path mentioned in the error, are there any folders there? Does it exist?

2023-12-11 16:06:18 +0000 UTCGood morning and thanks for your reply. I did extract it to the drive where my AMS 2 exe is stored (but not in the AMS 2 folder). I got this message when I tried to open the app: "An error occurred: Could not find file C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\ProceduralCareer\Settings\settings.json. Main Menu Error 3." When I extracted the file all I saw was the application itself; I never saw any other files or folders. One note: Windows Defender (or something) tried to block the download at first; is it possible that it interfered with things in some way? Or have I just done something else incorrectly? Doesn't seem like a common issue so I'm assuming it's me. I'm new to pc gaming so apologies for that. Thanks

2023-12-11 13:47:00 +0000 UTCDid you extract the EXE from the zip file? Extract it, then go in your settings, check the DLC that you own, and click save

2023-12-11 11:09:51 +0000 UTCHello. Having some problems with setup. I keep getting New Career and Main Menu error messages that seem to be looking for settings and .json files; but neither of those files appeared to be in the .zip file (all I saw was the app itself, and clicking on that just causes it to run). This occurred on 1.2.1e. Should I be downloading something else along with the app in the .zip file? Thanks
