Added 2024-06-17 01:12:00 +0000 UTCI got a pretty quick reply from Microsoft, they basically confirm the exe file is clean. I'm still in talks with them to try to reproduce what causes the alert when downloading the file. It might have something to do with the file being zipped, or maybe Patreon alters the zip file on their end and that causes an issue, I'm not sure yet.
I'm actively working on trying to resolve this issue, sorry for the scare!

Oh right, that explains the Google drive and mega links a lot of people seem to favour install of posting directly. Thanks for the quick response and good to see MS have already whitelisted it.

2024-06-17 07:35:45 +0000 UTCBecause Patreon only allows file up to 199MB, and the exe is... 208MB, so zipping is only to get below the size requirement Anyway I just posted an update, Microsoft should have cleared the detection and everything should be solved next time your Defender updates itself
