Added 2024-03-28 12:25:32 +0000 UTCThis Fingerstyle Booster is something I've been practicing a lot lately, focusing on the apoyando technique. It is an excerpt from the flamenco composition "Alegrías en Sol" by Manolo de Huelva, and it can serve as great material to improve your picado technique.
The exercise contains two parts, first in the key of G minor and then in the key of G major. As you already know, your apoyando/picado technique should always be executed strictly alternating index and middle fingers on your right hand. I would suggest starting Part A with the index finger and Part B with your middle finger, maintaining strict finger alternation throughout.
