Paralyzed canonically takes place after Blue & Green. It describes Jet's battle with the Lindworm and the loss of the Valkyrie. Sound familiar? It should - it's the exact same story as How Angels Die. It's even the same musical premise of 'happy song, sad lyrics'!
I wrote Paralyzed first and it was all ready to be slotted into the album, but then the idea of How Angels Die came and blew Paralyzed out of the water.
Still, the sections at 2:04 and 3:00 are so powerful to me. Paralyzed certainly has a kick!
