A little about me and a little about animation
Added 2018-03-28 22:43:05 +0000 UTCSo, I have posted something like this before but there are a lot of new Patreons so I thought it might be a good idea to share some of this info again.
First, about me. I have a "real job" where I can usually work from home. Typically, I will animate during the day and do my real jobs work at night unless I have to do it sooner for a deadline or something. My average day is 5-8 hours of animation and 5-8 hours of work. It just depends on the day. I would love more than ANYTHING to quit my job and do THIS full time... I am going to figure out what that would take after this animation is done.
Also, I am single and my mom lives with me. She somewhat recently got into an accident with me in the car and got her license taken away and she lost her house last year too. She is very depressed and lethargic all the time so I basically take care of her and have to drive her to and from work everyday, cook for her etc... She has issues with drinking and sometimes other stuff too.
Anyway, that brings me to the next topic, animation. Animation takes a lot of time. The Disney/Pixar standard for quality is something like 10-20 seconds a week. My quality is not Disney/Pixar (yet) but I hope to be one day. Also, unlike a lot of other "adult" animators I dont do loops... if I did loops I could crank out stuff every week but... thats not what I want to do. My goal is to create a Disney/Pixar high quality Hentai animation basically.
So, wrapping all of this up... I want to say that I LOVE doing this. I wish I could animate 24/7. However, I have other responsibilities that vary in intensity on a daily basis. I get asked 10 to 20 times everday when AML2 will be done and if it were up to me, I would say 30 days ago. The truth is none of this is an exact science and for me there are a lot of variables that factor this.
I do feel bad that I didnt get AML2 done by the 19th like I had hoped but I truly feel you will like it and the extra 2 weeks will be worth it.
The last thing I want to say is that I do all of this work myself. I am 1 person... I dont have an studio or team behind me... but I do have everyone that supports me here on Patreon. I love your feedback, your ideas, and I am so happy to have your support. I have said it a lot but I am so so so thankful to have you here so that we can make something very special and unique together. I will work as hard as I can to not let you all down and continue to keep improving and helping turn your ideas and thoughts into really high quality animation.

2018-03-29 16:48:55 +0000 UTCIt would indeed be great if you could do more, but what you do is great quality. The most important thing is that you have fun with it. Honestly, just the fact that you post just about every day is enough to keep me happy as a patron — I can tell that you are still loving this job/hobby/whatever, and that’s enough.

2018-03-29 04:49:26 +0000 UTCYes indeed it is the storylines that are the most important thing, and that takes time, the short 5min stuff is ok but it dosen't make you come back, or have an enjoyable story. so for me you keep going the way you are Adult Pixer here you come. Yeepeee.

2018-03-29 03:22:48 +0000 UTCYour quality and originality is already far superior to most so no need to worry about Pixar level. I also respect that you make longer videos as is and don't do loops. It's us that need to thank you for doing this, not the other way around. Keep at it and soon you will be doing what you love and making a great living along with it!

2018-03-29 02:42:20 +0000 UTCAiming for Disney/Pixar standard of quality may hurt more than it helps. They are a major studio. You are a single person. I don't have a problem with others making loops because if executed right they can be great and I understand the limitations they work under. Not every video has to be a 5+ minutes. Shorter ones are fine. Its all about how they are done.

2018-03-28 23:21:19 +0000 UTCAs excited as we all are, I am willing to say that we are also willing to exercise patience for the quality of work you adhere to. Definite credit for no loops, as that is an awesome quality to your work. Between your work speaking for itself, and word of mouth, hopefully you'll hit some serious following that will allow full time animation.
