Hello again. Here is the finished, textless page for you to enjoy. It's more or less just like the last update I did early Friday morning, but with a few little details to help flesh it out.
When I blocked in all my background dudes I decided to just pick one at a time and paint them in each panel they appear in before moving on to the next. They're all made-up characters I probably won't draw again but I still want to keep them consistent, so I just invent a color palette for them, load it into my short-term memory and then immediately unload it when I'm done. I think this method is ultimately much nicer than the other "blob in silhouettes and then paint them that way" technique, so I'll be using it more in the future.
Once I got the background figures painted in I added the cast shadows on the walls behind them. I again used the front window as my primary light source for reasons posted in Friday's update and I think it really gives the shot a sense of depth and atmosphere, especially in the third panel. I really like how that third panel came out, I think it captures a very specific feeling many of us are familiar with.
I'm going to get to lettering and put this comic up on the site ASAP. Thanks for reading!
