Art Journal 025b: Comic Update
Added 2014-10-31 11:13:43 +0000 UTCIt's been a while since I've been able to work on my comic, since I was working on game stuff for SPX. I started the comic page once I got back but some freelance work fell in my lap and that took me the better part of the month to do. I started it up again on Sunday and I was hoping to have it done for today but the background got the better of me so I'm ridiculously close to being done, but its a Friday and I made progress so here it is. I'm trying a new approach with the backgrounds. Normally I just focus on one background until its done and move onto the next, but I find when I have to go back and make edits to something, like if I forgot a detail somewhere, I can knock those fixes out quicker. So as an experiment in expedience I've been doing multiple backgrounds in a really basic state so afterwards I can "fix" them and add in the finer details, like background people. Right now Mayor Richardson is waving to nobody but I swear there's actually people at that corner booth. The finished page isn't far from done, I should have it in a day or two.
