Dead Winter Minicomics Batch #32

This week I wanted to fit a proper amount of minicomics into my schedule, so I got two of them done around my other work. I'm creeping up on the end of this run, I figure right around 90 is when I'm gonna pull out my ender ideas. In the meantime, here's this week's batch of strips:

#085: Here's another strip with the Dinner Boys. They originated as like this random shot of town weirdos on page 570:

.. and they've kinda just become like the barfly group of friends in Tombstone. They meet up at the diner every day and just talk and share in their common bond. Today their topic is eating ghosts and stealing their powers. The idea that Ted thinks Santa is a) real and b) a ghost was just funny to me. Also: I haven't cooked up a name for the other two Dinner Boys, so if you'd like to share some suggestions for them it can be etched into the lore of the comic.

#086: This one was just fun to do. This week was Sonic's 30th birthday, and lately I've been watching a weekly program on Twitch about the history of the Sonic series, which you can find here: https://www.twitch.tv/digilili They broadcast around 10pm EST every Friday, so you can catch the show tonight as well. Anyways, I've had Sonic on the brain and wanted to do a couple homage shots. Lou is the star of this one because out of the whole cast he naturally has the most Sonic-esque limbs, and I think he deserves a spot of fun.

That's it for this week's batch. I can probably do one or two for next week, I'd like to keep up two to stay ahead of the buffer, but I also really want to get the next main-comic page finished, so we'll see how it goes from here. Only 14 more pages to hit my goal of 100 minicomics! Until next week, be well!
