Hello again! I've got a textless page to share with you real quick. I'd like to get it lettered and loaded so I'll be thrifty with my posting.

I gotta tell you, I'd dreaded painting that first panel for a while and it turned out to be as bad as I thought. It took me a whole day by itself and render it. The curving perspective and the overhanging catwalk are one thing but I had to go and reference how I actually painted these newspaper printing machines to try and match them correctly. I don't look forward to having to paint it again, but honestly I have just one more page in this immediate scene before it's time to move forward.

As a courtesy to myself I did let the roofing stay somewhat simple. These big warehouse spaces tend to have complicated roofing details- when I was painting the Omni-Mart arc getting all the lights and ceiling tiles just right was a big challenge for me each page- so having somewhat simpler lines that still read as warehousey is fine by me, I think it gets the job done.

I'm gonna hop back to work and get my lettering in and get this page online. I'll have some fun new things to share for Friday, like more minis and probably the sketch for the next page. Until then, take it easy!
