Hello again! This week's minicomics batch is a bit of an odd one for reasons you may soon come to understand. I've got two strips today, although it's more one-and-a-half strips, but it's basically two so you should still have a satisfying read today. We're getting down to our final minicomics of this run so I've either got to commit to some of the ideas I've had written down or hold my peace until I get more time to come back to these. Tangentially, I do have a plan for another batch of side-comic content but I can talk about that when we get closer to minicomic #100. For now though, let's see the one-and-a-half-but-probably-closer-to-two comics for today!

#095: Throughout the comic there's a bunch of references to GWAR, from posters in houses to Alice's shirt in her license photo, it's been the fun band to put references to here and there. Thinking of the minis as sort of a distilled microrepresentation of the comic, I had this thought that "what if the characters of GWAR were literally real?" The comic takes place in the 2010s so Oderus Urungus being the leader of the group fits chronologically, may he rest in peace. Alice gets to pop the line like that M&Ms commercial they keep playing year after year.

#096: This one is the half-page but I thought in this stage it was still worth sharing today. Also, you get to see the secret theme of the week: cameos!!! I tried to scrape up a big list of iconic zombie dealer-withers to fill out a panning shot of a convention hall, so if you're a fan of the genre you can comb through and see how many you recognize while I actually ink this monstrosity! The closing line here is Francis saying "I hate conventions!" and that's the whole joke, because I don't want to cover up any of the space in the other panels with word balloons. Feel free to post your favorites in the comments on this post!
My buffer on these has dwindled down to a bare minimum but I'm four-and-a-half comics from the finish line so I think I'll be fine making it to the end without missing an update. I'm gonna be inking #096 all day, I'll save it for when it finally is ready to go up and post at least #097 next week. Until then, have a pleasant weekend!
