Comic Report #94.1 - All Wrapped Up
Added 2022-01-05 22:49:04 +0000 UTCHello! Here's the textless version of the new page. I'll keep this post brief so I can get it lettered and posted during these hours where everyone is awake.
Going into this page the panel I felt I'd have the most trouble with was the mall interior shot, but I think it turned out pretty good. You can get a sense of how all the curtains are hung up over all the store entrances to make private little houses, and the theater on the third floor is all darkened out to give it a sense of depth. Normally when I do page previews I pick the first panel, but I really want that mall shot to be shown in some way that is uncovered by text bubbles so I'm probably going to preview this page with that panel instead, it's just more interesting than Mary and Trevor with their hands up.
I might not have the next comic page up on Friday, I want to focus on some gamedev stuff so I'll more than likely have a gamedev writeup only this time. The year 2021 ended with a huge compression of comic updates, and I'm happy to get a whole bunch of narrative threads tied off. The next page will begin a new chapter so I'm excited to share that as well. Until then, I'm getting back to work. See you again on Friday!
