Hello again! Last week I hadn't had time to draw up new minicomics, since I posted a new comic update basically on Friday, and I ended up burning a week off my buffer. That's what it's there for, but I'd like to shore it back up. This week I had a bunch of things I needed to handle and only managed to get one mini done, but I've decided to spend this week making minis so I can get the buffer back up closer to 20 like I originally wanted.
Before I post the week's minicomic I do want to share some plans I have. Since starting this project in September I've found myself crunching fairly hard to keep up with minis in addition to the main comic, work on the Dead Winter game and work on other games at my day job. I've found myself hitting the ceiling of usable hours in a given day and have had to push some other pursuits out of my schedule, like my kanji studies and my workout routine, which I wasn't too happy with. To try and pull back a bit and give myself some hours to live I'm thinking about capping the minicomics at 100 strips. When I hit 100 I could call that Season One, and I can give myself a little breather before making more. I'm at 67 strips now so I'm 2/3rds of the way there, but I'll probably let the buffer burn a little bit in order to give myself that time in the week to do things other than work. This week, as I mentioned in the main comic update post, I'm gonna focus entirely on minis to try and push that buffer back up, but after that I might be going easier on myself so I can keep working on my language studies and personal health. I just wanted to share that thought here, since I know people have been enjoying these strips each week. One hundred is my target, so let's get there together.
For now, though, let's have the next strip in the series!

#067: Any time I write about Stacy I like to treat her as this unmovable force of nature, an agent of chaos who does exactly what she wants to do. Lizzie is the one who confronts her the most though she has yet to win an arm wrestling contest with her. Alice doesn't have that kind of confrontational streak to her, so her interactions are a bit different. As a roommate Stacy is the type to wash the side of the plates she uses and sort of ignore the other side, which the food doesn't go on, so Alice has to confront her on it and get her to do a complete job. Stacy replies with a rather simple question, but Alice struggles with how to answer, so she's having a bit of a breakdown.
That's the one strip this week. I'll be trying to make a bunch more this week so next week I should hopefully have a bigger post to share. Thank you for your patient support of my work, I'm always grateful for and humbled by the people who enable me to pursue my work on this platform. Until next Friday, take care and have a restful weekend.
