This week I had plans to get two or three minis done. I had another mini half-done but I had to put that one on hold- there's a couple characters in the main comic who I want to keep as a bit of a mystery as to what their fate will be, so putting them in minis would sort of impact that in a way I don't want to spoil even if they turn out fine. I also wanted to focus more on getting the main comic finished as soon as I can so I don't have it draw out past when I get my second covid shot, in case it hits me like it hits a lot of other people. I got one strip today but I'll be bouncing back with a bunch more in the week to come, so I think it should balance out until I can hit my 100-page mark.

#073: This strip is an extension of #025, the "Capo Errol" joke. I love stupid word jokes and 用心棒 has been one of my kanji lesson vocab words, so the idea of a bodyguard named Jimbo was just very funny to me. Since all the crime guys have suits, vests and ties I thought Jimbo dressing in a mix of a loose kimono with a shirt and tie underneath might kinda help stick the joke.
There's just the one strip today, but there should be another main comic post very soon so I hope that makes up for it, with more minis to come in the following week. Thank you for your patience with my work. Until next week, take care and have a restful weekend!
