Welp. She got throughly brainwashed lol i expected the reveal of her identity to bring her memories back XD glad that the demons are from another world. The empire does seem to be not all bad if they are making sure that everyone is well fed and that soldiers are not being wasted on the badlands

It is just that the situation is so drastic that he cannot afford to have complete control and really start with the tyranny. But the good news is that the Empire is being bogged down by the Demons and the severe weather of the Maelstrom to consider expanding outwards. Or perhaps things will get so bad here that they will consider a mass migration/invasion to another continent unless other continents help? Interesting to think about. Though how is Rain going to find them and run away? Do they still have at least one anchor?

Context (new word) makes it ambiguous if Anya is making a genuine mistake or it is a weirdly fitting typo. In any case, learning to "language good" as a Dominus, has to be an uphill struggle, particularly if your minders and teachers are also your subordinates and minions.
