The system would not give those sorts of numbers, as all it gives is a measure to some set standard. There is also no guarantee that an Aura would do more damage to a larger creature. As hit points and aura damage are measures of some weird magical energy fields. Of a type that does not have much respect for physics.

This just occurred to me, but shouldn't there be some sort of damage per square foot included in the aura attacks? I get that it would be a lot of extra work and probably not worth figuring out for each monster, but shouldn't a monster with more surface area to attack be taking more damage than a smaller monster?

What reader are you using? There are dividers there, but some people have had problems, depending on what epub reader they are using. Try a different one, or try the PDF.

Rain is the hero, in his own mind, but he doesn't have the power to save everyone. That tension will cost him everytime he fails.to live up to his own expectations until it causes a change. Maybe the change is Rain get strong enough to live up to his own expectations, maybe his expectations change.

Maybe I like grime dark stories and gore or anti heroes in general but lately I began to dislike the story. Rain seems like a hero through and through from saving dogs to saving a city and people. It feels like I am reading a comic book charecter hero then someone who transported into a fantasy world. His thought process is the definition of goodness and everything he does is for the sake of people. I mean we all like to help people but most of the time people are selfish creatures and our thought processes is much darker then how we talk and behave. I am not sure where this story headed to I mean would it be more saving people and mc trying to grasp his sense of morality and hooking up with Amelia.

Theres a lot more to power generation and grid management than just a simple magnetic coil generator. I doubt Rain has the electrical engineering knowledge to allow them to do this.

Very nice chapter! The story is continuing and finally we can see the possibility of Rain having a lvl50+ blue to kill inside the dome so he can greatly increase his level cap and improve his stats for managing to hack the control stone of the dome!

Congratulations on 100, SenSoul! This chapter was a ton of fun... Lately the story has been enjoyable but far too much "spreadsheet work" for my preference. Seeing some good old-fashioned excitement and action is satisfying. I'm particularly happy to see Val and Mlem coming back to the stage. Val's caution-to-the-winds approach to life can be irritating, but it's exactly what is needed right now and I'm eaten up with curiosity about his new class.

Wouldn't it have been smarter for Rain to defeat all those bunched up Slimes (and the Greater Slimes in the sewers) with Purify? Crystal Slimes attack other Slimes on sight, so purifying one is like killing at least two in the long term. More if the Crystal Slimes get to high enough numbers in any one place to swarm and overwhelm new Slimes that pop up without much risk to themselves. Also Purify is much cheaper than Refrigerate.

Hehe I don't use optical disks of any sort anymore but I still have a .mp3 player that I run with. My phone is too big and heavy to run with (its like having a small brick flop around in my pocket) and I don't like the arm straps. I also don't really want to get sweat on my phone either. So I use a small and light .mp3 player instead. Battery time lasts much longer on one of those than a cellphone anyways. It does get me weird looks from time to time though because it seems everyone stopped using them about 10-15yr ago or so when cellphones really took off

Killing monsters work differently when outside of a Dungeon, so even them being nearby might be enough to awaken them (just like Rain awakened to lvl 18 with 0% contribution) - it is about time for Rain to find a lvl 25+ blue as well

You know what will be awesome? They find a blue in the city, something around 15-30 levels would be awesome. And Rain convinces everyone to hit it, or get in the fight. By everyone, I mean as many people from the city as possible. Now, thousands of level 25 people, that would be a crazy, wouldn't it ?

The Epub is broken for me again, ending on page 20. Checked against the pdf to be sure, and it's not just saying it is shorter, it actually is.

I mostly use flac same thing but *CD quality* with lossless compression (if the source is a CD). There are some online stores wich sells 24-bit flac also probably ripped from master tapes, DVD-Audio or SACD. But probably needs better equipment than mine to get the most out of those.

Excellent chapter. Congrats on chapter 100. I prefer the slow progress of stat increases, levels and skills but this is an excellent action packed chapter that ushers in a bunch of new challenges. I thought that you showed the chaos of the situation well. Mlem and the alchemists were hilarious and I really want them to get together. Hopefully the rank shift will provide opportunities to level up and awaken the population. If they can be protected from greater threats by the shield while building strength and expertly planning builds they will be in a good position to spread out and influence the region after Rain learns how to lower the shield. Maybe? Monsters have been stated to be disgusting before so that might just be a Cervidian thing, unless fungiforms are an exception for some reason.

Did the rank shift effect the dungeon? If the dungeon increased 5-10 levels maybe Rain will be able to fight a blue and break his level cap that way.
