Just caught up, and this has been a great story so far! I'm a little disappointed there's not going to be a clean break from Fel Sadanis though; I have to admit I was looking forward to new territory and travels. “Damn it, Kettel!” indeed. As for the group's name, I like Zero (and voted for it) but it's a bit hard to justify when literally only comprehensible to one person as a concept. Something like Foundation or The Foundation might work though as a stand in.

I'm gonna second The Union. It works on its own quite well, and it carries the meaning Rain wants from a name. Also, I think Noblesse Oblige could be a great name, though there are obviously some potential translation/language issues with that one.

Delver's Cooperative. It shows both the goal (delving) and institutionalizes Rain's democratic and social support interests.

It still feels too hasty. It's easy to understand Rain's reasons for wanting to establish a mini-guild, but there are so many things that should've been established before this. Feels like a ham-fisted way to have Rain to go through the pain of not being strong enough to do the things he wants to do after figuring out what those things are. But we the readers know that, and Rain knows that, and we KNOW that Rain knows that so why?

Stupid puns always make for better guild names. They're memorable, make people underestimate you, and help select for people you'd want to hang out with who have a sense of humor. It lets your recruits/employers/associates know what they're getting into and adjust expectations accordingly. "Deer Friends"/"Dear Friends" - It's like Tallheart's Fan Club only more groan inducing as a pun, shows that it's a 'friends and family' sort of group, and announces their support for Cervidians while keeping it ambiguous due to mixed lingo.

I liked just Delve, not with the guild or anything after. No need for a label, it's a nice shoutout to the title of the series and you don't have any adventures guild fiction cause it's not a "guild". Ascension in nice but seems a bit too self important for someone as self aware as Rain.

in terms of the "how" for the groupchat, right now we don't have a lot of ideas on how it could be accomplished, but Rain does have experience with connecting his soul directly to something else with Majistraal artifact, so I think that after educating himself on souls and palings and that weird meditation thing he's been doing to sense his soul, maybe he can figure it out.

As always, love seeing how weird Rain seems from another perspective. I like this new direction, it feels fun. I really hope he learns how to manipulate screens so that he can create a "groupchat" feature, that would really cement this group as unique and fits into the thematic of Rain's aura powers. Another thing is that I get that Rain wants things to be "democratic", and I respect that, but in times of crisis that often just muddies the water. In those sorts of times, people want someone they can respect and who makes them feel safe. They want a real leader. I hope that Rain can learn how to be a leader, without losing his current adorkableness.
