Plus the nature of the quest they're doing to secure it and etc seems like something that would need done shortly after creating the "fort", not days later. But valid question.

Just off the top of my head, imagine if Telen had a few arrows with a smaller, grooved hole in the arrowhead that could secure a Rockbomb. Detonating the bomb from within the monster would be devastating due to the attack circumventing stats/resistances. It would probably OHKO most low level bosses with a single shot. And that Diviner tho! It looks like his clairvoyant mana isn't counted as a debuff, and goes straight through the soul domain. Either that, or a tiny unclassed level 5 soul forced a soul override on everything present. Also also, I'm gunna need a threat assessment on all the A team members please!

Yassss I definitely enjoyed the, "Oh no, you're not taking this job. ...Not without ALL DIS SWEET EQUIPMENT!" Loaded them up for bear, damn. I mean it totally makes sense, but that just isn't what people DO. The potions and cold resistance rings alone are probably worth 500 tel or more. The messaging scroll must be extremely expensive given Lyn's reaction. The spears are more basic even if well crafted, and who knows what something like the "cricket rock" is even worth. This is a good mindset to instill. None of that pointlessly selfish malarkey that's so prevalent. The crafters make shit to protect and help everyone and get credits while still having freedom, and it's being made clear resources are going to be traded and used when appropriate. This'll make accolade swapping and so on much easier to establish as the status quo later on.

It will make it a lot easier to integrate new members, and keeping things going with this. I also like the difference between guild jobs and ascension ones. “Make sure not to cause us problems and try not to die” vs “are you sure you know what you’re doing? and here, take these supplies/gear”

You can’t generate enough friction and even if you could sliding rope can cut metal so your hand would be destroyed.
