Feature request: I'd like to be able to share this with someone who's not able to pay for a patreon membership. It's technically possible, but it'd be nice to say, "If you're paying $x, you can invite a friend" or similar.

I support you and listen intently. When you make California an example of prison labor please give honor to the inmates who work as fire crew. The point of their service is lost in all the Jim Crow comments. I know you did time. I also did time. I did almost 10 years as the wife of an inmate (who lived in the SHU almost entirely because he just had to roll with his crew Not fire)) and after our divorce of a 15 year marriage I became a CO. I have read your case, at least what is not sealed. As a Californian whose state is burning, I'd give my left tit to be out there fighting with those inmates. That job is coveted by inmates and the fire chiefs who lead them are some of the best. An inmate who has done fire crew is going to have a much better chance at a good life upon release. I of all people understand the prison industrial complex. The fire crews and also the Mustang program in Arizona run by a civilian friend of mine J.J. Anderson are some of the better things that happen in prison. I am sad to see my fellow Californians so critical without giving honor to the inmates (4000 are currently deployed) fighting to saw our state and people.
