A journalist finds his name on a local police list that was handed over to the FBI.

Note to explain some of the teasing and the informal nature: Isiah is a personal friend, and I encouraged him to become a journalist after seeing a documentary he put together when he was like 19.

If you aren't on the powers that be list for causing the good kind of trouble you probably didn't pay attention in civics or weren't given the opportunity to take civics.

Yup, it took more than a bit of threatening to get 'em to leave us alone. Still get junkmail from them occasionally and my last in person contact was 1993...

Don't evwn have to donate- just go audit them for a college class and they will follow you no matter where you go. 20 yrs and counting!

Santa's naughty list - the real one to stay off. ;)

There's at least one list you'll never get off of - just donate to Scientology :)

Thanks for unearthing this. This should be in the news - everywhere... to make this effective, I would squeeze the story into a 4-5 minute video and put it on you tube, tweeter....

Reminds me of the "Good old times" after the Zanzibar Revolution when there were there Ten Cell Leaders - essentially Ten Houses Leaders- who reported on everything that happened, who visited whom, who bought what and what have yous. Basically a system taught to the revolutionary government by the North Koreans, the Chinese and the Russians. Looks and sounds very much like that to me. "Happy Times"

Everyone is on a list somewhere, it's on who's and what sort of list on that matters....

Once you get on that list, you never really get off that list. Everyone is on that list now.

Yeah, he's great. He had a lot of guts even as a brand new journo.

I watched his feed live when he was in Kenosha. He's a fearless journalist.

List keeping of people by law enforcement is a dangerous thing it never ends in a good place. Especially now with how right wing our government has become. The curse of “may you live in interesting times” is definitely showing why it’s a curse.

My wife's name was put on a "red list" when she participated in a meeting of females. Some "informers" have too much time on their hands.

There's a first time for everything. I don't know who the local police think they are convincing with their explanation about the purpose of the list but I suppose this is Mr. Holmes trial by fire & to his credit he doesn't seem intimidated by it. Wear it as a badge of honor.
