Q and A

Will be doing a Q and A video soon on the second channel made of the questions you ask in the replies.

Comments

Hey Beau - I know some commenters have called it out on YouTube, but what is it about Kemp besides literally not being willing to steal the election (for someone besides himself) that makes him non-MAGA? His campaign was deeply racist, his policies haven't been good for Georgia, and he's standing by letting our state house run rough shod over abortion rights and LGBT rights. Maybe I'm seeing the representatives and just tying him to them, but he feels pretty fashy to me

Howdy Beau. New Patron. I was wondering what your thoughts are on RFK Jr’s chances of being able to get the Democratic nomination? He’s raised a lot of $ from individuals very quickly. I’ve seen positive comments from Trumpsters to Progressives writing that they will vote for him if given the chance. I grew up a Kennedy Democrat, & I have to admit, I’d vote for him. He’s the first one to give me real hope in decades.

HI Beau, Some months ago, you made a YT video about them testing the electrified Abrams and I was a little disheartened, ngl. While I support demand reduction, I think the push toward going electric -- especially for tactical vehicles above light -- is a bait and switch. There's a consensus study called "Powering the Army of the Future" (2021) from the National Academics of Science, Engineering, and Medicine, that lays out pretty clearly why alternative liquid fuels make a lot more sense. I'm an algae-based biofuel stan, myself, and I wish like heck this would get more attention. All the technology exists to mass-produce algae-based biofuels domestically, and all the technology not only exists but is at a high TRL for implementing biofuels in internal combustion engines. Even the process by which biofuels are refined has continued to improve, and with millions of types of lipid-bearing algae to choose from, any abandoned building could be a fuel farm. The EU has biofuel initiatives in place for airlines and has done trans-Atlantic test flights already. Here in the U.S., I think about the decades of knowledge at the Petroleum and Water Schoolhouse outside Ft. Gregg-Adams and all the training and expertise that would be rendered moot if they start jamming batteries into 60-ton tactical vehicles instead. Sorry that got long. Anyway, can you let us know what you think about the potential for an aggressive biofuels initiative to at least be a stop-gap between now and the Jetsons electric vehicle future?

Has the republican party always been this close to...betrayal I guess is the only word? Was trump and his hate and fear so powerful it overcame them, is any political group vulnerable to this?

I am from south western PA. Some might say "Pennsytucky". I live in a predominantly red area (67% Republican), a small town in fact. I believe that local and state elections are the backbone of our democracy. Due to you always telling us the 303 rule I decided to take it upon myself to run for the School Board in my area. Keep in mind I am somewhat of a leftist (wear alot of political t-shirts) around town and I don't hide my political views. I am also fairly new to this town (anyone not born here is considered an outsider). I knew I had a snowballs chance in hell of winning this election but I had to try. My only motive was to do as much good as possible with the time I have left. I survived brain cancer twice, and I promised myself if I made it this time I would find my opportunity to help people and I thought this might be it. I realize it is not a paid position and it's alot of stress but to educate our youth is tantamount especially when a few of the candidates are with the "Mom's of Liberty" which could put an end to our public school system. I worked to get endorsed by the PSEA (Pennsylvania State Education Association) as I am not a teacher I had to answer a lengthy questionnaire and I was also endorsed by my Democratic Committee. The issue comes in when my Democratic Committee also endorsed one of my opponents, a Republican, who is also in my region. My opponent received an endorsement from the PSEA as he was a football coach and a teacher. He has also lived here his entire life. We all crossfiled so we showed up on both primary ballots. To clarify there are only three candidates in my region and there are three regions in our district. It is a large district. I was the sole Democrat to run against two Republicans. I lost by 19 votes! I am very disappointed in my Democratic Committee for endorsing a Republican. I absolutely believe that we have to be friendly and discuss which I did throughout my campaign. In fact several of my friends (Republicans) put up my signs in their yards, but I now understand why Democrats don't want to run. When they don't get the backing of their own party either you don't run or you switch to the other side. If you switch to Republican that means it's all about winning and not about integrity. I guess that's politics.

Hello. I got a complicated foreign policy question for you. Why is Poland so loud about giving Ukraine weapons but Romanian & Bulgarian govts aren't saying anything but Romanian and Bulgarian tanks just magically show up in Ukraine, Ukrainian tanks come and go from BU for maintenance, and Ukrainian helicopters come in and out of RO for maintenance and both countries' ammunition manufacturers are now working 24/7? What causes this difference in international policy? RO is no longer (according to recent RO language news) dependent on Russian gas. BU still is. So why the secrecy? What exactly is the fear? Some Romanians on twitter say it's always been RO's policy to not comment on weapons deals because it has always surrounded by empires since 200BC that wanted to take it, so it's tradition/history. When the RO pres Klaus Iohannis was asked by journalists about it, he said smth like "the war is next door, and it is wise to not give vital information to the enemy. We are announcing publicly that we will do everything in our power to help Ukraine and this is what we are doing". But today RO is safe-in NATO so obv. the context has changed. Why not show RU the middle finger and say outloud everything they are doing, like Poland?

Hey Beau. Been following you for awhile now. Your "Cut through the BS and leave out the judgemental rehtoric" style has a genuine no drama quaity that in and of itself speaks to the crediblity of your content. looking forward to participating.

The Roads with Beau. Longer format, less frequent updates, where he covers topics in far more depth than on the main channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC_x7nc3Vi4BPgmNnMsz774A

I don't know what "the other channel" is. I don't use twitter. How do I participate in your next fund raiser. I appreciate your work delivering supplies to Ian hurricane people.

Have you heard about the end polluter welfare act? If you are a supporter of the bill can you help raise awareness? And this is climate town https://youtu.be/4wvAwVwc6sY

Can you expand on your optimism? I've heard you say that in the long run, we have progress, but there's an awful lot of pain in the short-to-mid-term. Thank you!

When you are doing hurricane disaster relief, are you coordinating with other groups like the various Cajun Navy ones?
