Sometimes I select my reactions based on the thumbnails or title of the song. This is similar to how I pick wines to try out when I am at the store! This one's thumbnail stuck out to me and I don't know why. The little blerb I got with it as well made me interested. The possiblity of a wild music video and "borrowing" (their msuical style?) from Maximum the Hormone? I'm down!

I was told there was an ELECTRIC FAN HARP in this. I don't know what that is and my imagination is running wild on what it could be. I have to check it out. Also, it's up for a limited time on YouTube, so I think I have to take my chances to see it soon!
BAND-MAID - Awkward (Thanks Glenner7)
I have been told about this song a few times, but I haven't gotten around to it. I am glad I waited though because Glenner7 was kind enough to give me the idea to do a 3-way look at each version available to me! We are going to listen to the album version, jump into the fall 2017 tour performance, and then hear the Maiko version. I'm excited!

I come from mainly listening to metal (for guitar based music) for over 20 years before discovering the Japanese rock/metal scene and while I have gotten used to some of the poppy stuff those bands tend to put in their music, a lot of J-Pop, Idol music and a lot of the very poppy J-Rock and metal bands are really not my thing. That said, I like Zutomayo a lot (and to some extent Yuroshika as well) and I absolutely love Zutomayo's live performances. They are with Gacharic Spin probably my favourite artists to watch live. I think you are going to like them a lot.
