I haven't dove deep into French music, so here we go!
Thanks to Spadeas on discord, I had the pleasure of checking out this singer's beautiful voice. I listened to her live acoustic version of the song and then I got curious and had to check out the studio version and I was pleasantly surprised! I liked both versions, but I really enjoyed the studio version the best mainly because of the build up of tension.

I'm glad you liked it 😊. I proposed the accoustic version mainly because I thinked it would be better to appreciate her voice, but thank you for doing both. For her name, you got it right don't (mine is a play on word with ace of spade, "as" being the french of ace and prononced... well, like "ass" 😅). Now for the song, you're not wrong with the longing vibe. The song talk about a little girl, feeling out of space, with her head in the cloud (or the moon in the song), who don't understand the other, so much that she think aliens deposed her on earth. Later she grew, still feeling the same but understanding that there is other like her, who feel that way. The chorus said "come get me" (venez me chercher), adressed to the aliens who would have left her here. There is a little bit of despair with the longing and if I analyse it correctly (which is always a complicated task), it's mostly a song for every person feeling like "aliens" because they're differents, don't think like everyone and have trouble making connection with other. A beautiful song that I can resonate with.
