Is this the same Rebecca from JBF? If so, good on ya! Hi!

Bandmaidfanatl

Lol. Would this be considered merch? 🤣

NittPicc

I’ve been considering it. I used to stream A LOT 3 years ago. I enjoyed it a lot, but it was gaming content and I don’t think too many people would be interested in that here. 😅 Although I haven’t seen others do reactions via Twitch. I’d just have to make sure I understand how not to piss off the Twitch copyright policy. 🙃

NittPicc

Love this input! And you’re right. I was asking around after reading your first bullet point and they are quarterly. I’ll need to mark these in my calendar. 😅

NittPicc

I am considering changing the @rule on discord. It’s easiest to message me on here. I check private messages more than anything. I read comments but don’t comment too often. Honestly, Patreon comments are so much more kind. I won’t lie, I haven’t been reading YT comments much lately since I’ve gotten some really rude and upsetting comments over there.

NittPicc

🤘😊🕊️🙏

Vladimir Chupin

NittPicc, I think you would really enjoying seeing and reacting to some of Vladimir's early Band Maid concert footage from European shows. He's got some really great stuff there! Much of it is also available on his YouTube channel.

Charles Coleman

I love your analysis of Band-Maid, especially against the score sheets. As far as the share holder meeting it goes to your integrity which we already knew.

At least in the UK, Rode microphones aren't actually cheaper than Shure, about half of my microphones are Rode in part because of their bang for your buck aspect. Are you looking for a microphone more suited to woodwind recording, live audio or something for vocal reaction/analysis? With regards to anime reactions, I'm more than happy for you to react to that side of things as well, but it seems sensible to stick to more music focused shows (particularly if they have connected music projects outside of the show itself) and not eat too much into your main content in terms of the ratio for now, so as not to dilute your 'brand' as it were. So maybe try stuff like Bocchi the Rock, Girls Band Cry, Sound Euphonium (for your not so inner band geek ;) ), Those Snow White Notes (shamisen focused series) and maybe some of the Bang Dream franchise (though that last one is a dangerously extensive rabbithole I've avoided falling down, semi-follow a couple of the main groups created but kept away from the various connected anime series). Totally get the less stable income aspect of self-employed instrumental teaching, I tried teaching guitar as a tertiary income after leaving university and gave up after less than a year out of frustration. Overall I'm very much happy with the content you've been releasing, hence being a patreon. I watch maybe 3/4 of your videos, with the stuff I miss out just being for groups or artists I have no interest in, though you have sometimes won me over to check out things on the margins. One question I do have is how you prefer to consistently be interacted with in terms of info dumps/corrections/background on artists/bands? Occasionally you chat on Discord (though I totally understand the no @ rule) and from an algorithm perspective commenting on YT vids I'm sure is beneficial, but it's not always clear if that information is getting to you in the most efficient manner. Do you get a chance to check out the comments left on Patreon for example? (totally understand if you just don't get the time, but here seemed like the best place to pose such questions)

NittPicc, this shareholder meeting says a lot about you - all good. I have to agree with a comment I read, if you want to react to other things than music I understand however, I’m here because of your musical knowledge, your intelligent discussion of music, and your bubbly personality (much like our Maids). Unfortunately I have seen other reactors go off on other ‘topics’ and unfortunately music isn’t the main topic then. Musical documentaries are great. I don’t known how but maybe a short discussion (on your observations) on classical (or just) influences, as you have seen during a period of reactions, by some of our current musicians.

Rebecca Haigh

Vladimir, I agree!

Bill Hallisey

Yeah, I thought the same thing. BAND-MAID currently has 132 songs, and that's only if we group all different versions together (studio/lives/acoustic/Maiko etc.)

Vladimir Chupin

I think many people would gladly buy those tickets for her 😍

Vladimir Chupin

Well, if she would watch all the openings and endings for BLEACH anime, that would be amazing 😂

Vladimir Chupin

You deliver more than I could ask for and certainly more than most. Personally I would not care if you spent the money on hookers and blow :p ... that is your business. For me personally ... and I can only speak for myself. I am here for music. If those other things interest you , that is great ... but it is not something I would watch ... just being honest :) .

PANIC

As far as content goes, personally I think would prefer music reactions and music related content. I only say that because I really enjoy you sharing your expertise with us! I always feel like I learn something when watching your videos, especially when you dive deep into analysis of the music (for example, the Band-Maid videos where you look at the score). That being said, it's just my personal preference! Glad to see our support is making a difference! I hope you get to keep doing what you enjoy doing, and have fun while you're at it I also hope you can work in some breaks in there too. Wouldn't want you to get burned out! Looking forward to what's next!

Hebes

Thank you for your content! ❤️

Onyx The Dane

My dear NittPicc, you are doing an amazing job and honestly, there are many great reactors out there, but you are my favorite, you kick ass Po! However you choose to use my membership money is perfectly cool with me, you are well worth the entertainment dollars! You are our fellow Maidiac and we love you dearly! Kuruppo!

Charles Coleman

Solid idea. They are great documentaries as is and you can always react to the updates. Ohrenje-san added some cool stuff in the 2 updates. Eaglez1 is right, go for it!

Charles Coleman

no benefit to shareholders

1. Aren't shareholder meetings every quarter? (Monthly prob a bit much and this might be a better compromise) 2. If doing Live stream, I'd recommend putting a marker in the comments (like ************ Song Start **************) then paying attention to the song and reviewing comments after each (or do it in sections) - granted it might extend out the whole thing by quite a bit but I've seen loads of streamers miss huge amounts of the songs (or the important bits) distracted by the comments, stopping every couple minutes or conversely miss many very good comments by not having a where-was-i stategy. 3. Remember you're looking at 2 and a half to 3 and a half hour concerts - if splitting up might be an idea to ask the fanbase for recommendations on doing that (Miku's MCs can be up to 20minutes, might not be something to end on, for example)

Chalfo

If we start a fund Me for this, I'm in for $100!

Wayne B

Nitt...you're doing fantastic. Just an FYI, if your going to continue waiting on updated docs of the rest of the maids, you'll probably be waiting awhile. I'd go ahead and watch Misa Akane and the 3 part Miku.

Eaglez1

I personally wish for your Patreon funds to go wherever they are needed the most to make your life easier. I don't think you should feel obliged to do monthly meetings - it's of course up to you. As for being grateful for our support, please always remember that we are grateful to you in return for what you do. I think we would love to watch the Band-Maid documentaries along with you. I know I would. They are so good, and your reactions are sure to be highly entertaining! I'd also love to participate in a concert watch-along with you, such as Yokohama Arena or Line Cube Shibuya.

Glenner7

Not sure about the anime stuff, but if you enjoy it i'm in for it too....

Sawzar

NittPicc, whatever you need to do to grow your channel, keep it up Don't forget to save enough funds to buy an Ultimate VIP ticket to a Band- Maid concert. We need you to be on the rail at the concert fan-girling out. Now that is content I want to see!

Bill Hallisey

I also see Twitch on the horizon...

Bandmaidfanatl

Live streaming on discord is easy. I've streamed concerts in the past. You'd be able to stream your documentaries there.

Gary Ellis

Also, let me know if you need my address to send me my stock certificate. 😂

Bandmaidfanatl

Yeah you are doing my great. My only suggestion so far would be it might be tough doing Band-Maid one song per week at a time. It'll be 2037 before you have caught up to what they currently have out there between studio, official live, official lives, fancams (S/O Vlad), instrumentals, acoustics, sheet music...but I do enjoy the Patreon deep dives. No one else actually goes through the sheet music, and that I like cause I am a singer and I can (kinda) read music.

Bandmaidfanatl

You are doing an amazing job.

Juan San

Yeah, a good tablet/laptop like Surface would be a wonderful thing to have. So, we need to raise like $4k or something like that... OK 🤘

Vladimir Chupin

Well, almost all major BAND-MAID material is present on my OneDrive, which I shared with you here on a few occasions. I mean, all the concerts which were officially published, are definitely there, including the rips from Blu-Rays. I think the files are much easier to handle than the physical discs. I understand that the most difficult thing for anyone is to know what to look for. That folder with BAND-MAID stuff on OneDrive contains 132 folders, organized chronologically (for the most part). But since you are a new Maidiac, of course you probably have no clue which folders are the most interesting ones. Although you may go chronologically, from top down, in the same way as you have started going through BAND-MAID discography starting from MAID in JAPAN. Whatever, it's up to you, of course, how you plan it. What I wanted to say is that the physical things are not important, all material is available in digital form, it's literally at your fingertips.

Vladimir Chupin

Oooo, definitely see if you can go to Hanabie! That should be a wild night with them and Kim Dracula!

Bandmaidfanatl

We love you too ♥ You deserve every dollar made by doing so many good videos per month. I may not love every genre of music, but i enjoyed discovering artists with you. Hope you will get to see both Hanabi and Rolling Quartz. I didnť saw Bocchi the Rock yet, it would be fun to watch it with you. Don´t overwork yourself. P.S. Don't forget Nightwish movie 😉, probably too long for recorded reaction.
