Bocchi the Rock, Ep. 2 - See You Tomorrow

I am starting to think that I am all of these characters!

Did you have a hard time getting accustomed to talking to people at work? Did your job force you to be able to overcome anxiety or make it worse for you?

I try to avoid picking up the phone at all costs. I get that. I am very lucky with the job/business that I run, but teaching has become so difficult with low attention spans with kids that I don't know how much longer I can keep going. I just couldn't imagine my life without doing something in music.

I always felt like an old soul in a young mind and body. I was always told that when I was younger too. I think I may be growing into my old soul though. Maybe? I thought about joining the Air Force with music, but my family really didn't want me to do so. I sometimes still consider it.

My worst job was the Army, I joined cos I couldn't become a pilot in the Air Force (Not good enough grades in Higher Mathematics). The whole the Section (10 man grouping) is your family never sat well with my social anxiety and I was never able to fit in with my fellow soldiers, usually cos like Saiki I would join already existing groups. So I became known as the old timer (someone that complained a lot but got the job done) that was a loner.

The second most scary part of losing job (after finances) is getting used to new collective. It took me weeks to start talk to some people. I am person other should contact, if there is a problem with warehouse department, and i am so afraid of telephone ringing (problems on afternoon shift are rare).

Watch closely in the design of Nijika and Seika, her older sister. Both have the "dorito" in the top of her head. Talking about family resemblance. He He

I wanted to get beta blockers in college for my performance anxiety in music school, but doctors told me I was β€œtoo chill” to take it. Apparently I have a fairly low blood pressure… I had to learn to perform. It probably was for the best, but I’m jealous of my other friends who were able to get a prescription. πŸ˜…

We can all relate to Bocchi as we all have probably had the same experiences at least once at some point in out lives. My daughter had really bad performance anxiety for quite some time and when she got into college she finally got a prescription for anxiety to help calm her down. The first time she used it she told me later that she wished she had done that earlier. She doesn't use it very much anymore as she's learned to overcome most of the fears.
