I owe my friend Trish and apology. She had talked about Girugamesh several times while in school and I never decided to listen to them.
It seems like I am always late to the party when it comes to good bands. It's rare that I get a jump on a good group before they are more famous.
...at least I know of them now, because this is music that will go in my everday playlist!

That sucks because I like their sound. …and super weird that they would release after disbanding. But…at least they did release it. I know it’s a different instance, but I have been burn by games that I have played demos of and then they end up not happening due to company issues. It’s…annoying and depressing to be so excited for something and it never comes to fruition. I’ll take the bizarre release. Lol.

The one fella is also often misheard as saying "and gay men" ... lol (its "and gaming") ... and Smile D.K. is one of the worst things ever invented :p . They also made an appearance at Sakura-Con 2009 as well and we have to assume that is the tie-in. If you ever need a good laugh go read the comment section in the Sakura-Con commercial. The distribution for the album MONSTER was really weird. It was released AFTER Girugämesh had disbanded - the band announced they would be no more in 2011 and this was released in 2013. They performed the entire album live and it was streamed ... but good luck finding it anywhere. Monster is NOT listed in their discography either. I'll have to check but I do not believe any of the members are German :p . FYI the YT suggestion that came up after the video you watched is for the song ENGRAVE which was their 2022 comeback attempt. I never much cared for it.
