While watching this, I am enjoying the show, but I feel like I am sharing more about myself with you all. I feel like I am also learning a lot about you all as well. It feels like a little family over here!
Anyway, I really liked this episode because Ryo-san is right. Great bands write lyrics from the heart. Lyrics that are real. Not everyone will like it, but it's the connection that counts.
With that being said, what is your favorite song that really resonates with you lyrics-wise?

So I’ve sought out people who reacted to this show in particular. Your laugh is authentic and that’s much better than 90% of most reactors. So just like Ryo said with Bocchi’s lyrics, “losing your uniqueness is the equivalent to dying” and your laugh is part of that. So I enjoy it. Thank you for your reaction.

I understand the idea of creating something for the masses vs creating something that reaches to not everyone but to those who appreciate it. It’s a delicate balance. I am loving this anime so much…!

Composed by Ikkyu Nakajima, vocalist/guitarist of Tricot and sung by Saku Mizuno, the voice actress of Ryo. Ryo dialog between Ryo and Bocchi in the restauran is....cheff kiss. Episode 4 is one of the most important of the series as is the connection of Bocchi and Ryo as both are the creative impulse of the band. Nijika is the soul, Kita is the face and Ryo and Bocchi are the brains. The last crackling laugh of Bocchi is one of the most funniest things I've ever saw...HA HA.

2025-02-05 18:23:20 +0000 UTCThe painted wall where Kessoku Band take their jumping promo picture is a real location, several artists I follow have taken their own selfies in front of it for their socials as a tribute to the show. Also, more real life band puns, inside Bocchi's closet where she hides to write lyrics and record her YT covers there's a Hako-Boon poster with astronauts on it. This is referencing the band Kana-Boon, who have done a bunch of anime OP/ED's, their lead singer/rhythm guitarist Maguro Taniguchi also wrote the music & lyrics for 'Distortion!!' the ED used for the first three episodes of Bocchi prior to this episode.
