TELECiDE - PG-16

I am so happy that I was suggested this band, but I am really sad that they are not together. I looked up info on them and it turns out the they disbaneded in December 2018.

Both singers bring a unique sound to the group and the fact that they are still a only 3 piece putting out this kind of sound is something to really hold on to.

This is band lost to the sands of time, for sure.

YOKO YOKO YOKO! The clean vocalist reminds me of is an Australian singer Natalie Bassingthwaighte that was a solo artist but also did a stint (2 albums in 2005 and 2007) with the Australian Band "Rouge Traders" their big hit was Voodoo Child.

Kittie just dropped a new video 2 weeks ago ... "We Are Shadows" ;) . As Natsumi says, "TURN IT UP!" The band had a very loud and public break up on December 20th 2018. We can discuss the 2 remaining findable members. The guitarist Yui was said to have left the band in December of 2017 ... she is not really credited anywhere including the official website with playing for the band. While the clean singer Haruki is still quite obscure, she performed as Diane in the IDOL group Faky and now performs solo as HarukiD. She is half Japanese and half American and was born Diane Colquhoun on January 28, 1996, in Okinawa. She never really found any success after TELECiDE. The other girls mostly just fell into obscurity with one notable exception. Natsumi the drummer now plays with the well-known band BRIDEAR ... she is actually quite shy and I would say ... fragile. A very empathetic soul she is probably the most interviewed of this group and was forthcoming about her anxiety when they were together. She seems very content now and happy with her latest bandmates.

Very energetic. If this band had been around when I was 30, I would have been all over it. However, on the other hand, I just can't deal with growling vocals. They really smash the cliché of petite demure reserved young Japanese women, don't they.
